Choosing the Right Bear
Make every penny spent on your bear worthwhile! So, how can you make sure you get the greatest bear?
- The linked teddy bear is the safest choice for small children. It is less likely to become disjointed when they try to tear it apart. If the bear contains jointed pieces, you can experiment with its shape to make it more enjoyable to play with. For example, you may make it sit, stand, or raise its hands. Check that no part can be easily yanked out of its socket after a few minutes of play.
- Check that the nose and eyes are sewed into the material to avoid a choking hazard for little children. • The seams must be tiny and virtually undetectable, as obvious ones are not aesthetically pleasing. Unworn eyes and noses, thick and uneven seams that little exploring hands can readily rip out, unnecessary body parts, haphazardly jointed legs, limbs, and heads, and uneven stuffing should all be avoided. Stay away from “fake” teddy bears. You may find it easy on your wallet today, but you may have a lot of regrets later! Quality should never be compromised.
