TripIt will be a lifesaver for small business owners who take a lot of business trips. TripIt collects all of your travel information and sends you notifications about flight changes. MileIQ isn’t flashy, but it does the job. This free mileage tracker app can track up to 40 trips per month and multiple vehicles. Trips can be classified as personal or business-related, and employees can add notes.
MileIQ also calculates how much you can deduct for each trip on your taxes—the average MileIQ user removes more than $6,500 annually. As of January 1, 2018, you can deduct 54.5 cents per mile driven for business travel.
MileIQ also integrates with FreshBooks, allowing you to import data and add trips to expense reports. This will make reporting your mileage and claiming a deduction during tax season a breeze.

11. Contxts
Business cards can be inconvenient at times. They are costly, inconvenient to carry, and the information is frequently out of date. Contxts is a business networking app that allows you to send information from a business card as an SMS text message.
You can either text or call the recipient. You can even instruct your contact to text your account name to 50500; your information will be texted back to them automatically. You can also export your contacts and include links to your company website, LinkedIn page, and social media pages in your profile, among other things. Except for SMS charges from your service provider, Contxts is free to use. It also works on any cell phone, even if it isn’t a smartphone.
